Bail Is a Bitch

So your family has a gazillion bucks and you can't post $20,000 bail. That really blows.

Barron Hilton is rotting away, waiting to get released. Paris won't bail him out, so his friends came to do it. But there's a snag. Barron's buds showed up with $2,000 cash, assuming they only had to pay 10%. They assumed they could take the 10% to the Sheriff and spring their friend, but the Sheriff doesn't provide discounts -- only a bail bondsman will take a William Morris percentage.

So now Barron's buds are off looking for a bail bondsman. We hear the meatloaf dinners are excellent. Tastes like chicken.

16. Well, on other sites, Dad said he didn't even know about it. Can't his friends come up with more than $2,000? Also he's charged with using a phony license. Bad boy. ANd I do mean boy. How stupid-risking his life and ours.

17. An 18 year old kid with a Mercedes? Come on. What dd they expect would happen? Just because you CAN have something doesn't mean you SHOULD have it. These parents have failed miserably. Spoiled, entitled, socially ignorant children is what they have to show for all that wealth. Too bad. The kid won't learn a darn thing from this. His sis did time in the pokie and she's right back to being a classless, arrogant, self centered, spotlight hungry nothing! Being taught a lesson did nothing to improve HER character, so I don't expect anyting different for Barron. They never grow up because they don't have to!

19. The Hiltons ought to take away all of their little ones' money and make them earn a living, don't pay any of their bills, and don't bail them out of jail.

20. Doesn't matter to me. He drank, he drove. He should be glad he didn't kill anyone. He did hurt someone.

He AND his parents should be serving time.

27. Oh, for heaven's sake. Ms. Hilton takes her young brother around town to various nightclubs where he is clearly underage and should not be allowed in, despite the fact that he apparently has some partying and drinking issues like her own at that age – and still does. Now she refuses to bail him out of jail. Wow -- there's some tough love, Paris. It's a shame you weren't as tough on yourself; especially, when you tried to pull a get-out-of-jail-after-4-days card less than a year ago. Perhaps she wants him to learn from this experience. As if her psyche is all that “reformed?” Give me a break.

28. So now the Hiltons are “setting an example?” What rubbish. It's obvious that the real culprits here are the parents. It’s such a shame. When two children act out in such blatantly narcissistic and disrespectful ways, it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee. I hope this young man finds the help that he needs; however, if he has to live in that environment, it’s doubtful.

29. I never even knew the hiltons had a SON...I thought it was only Paris & Nicky...They obviously ignored him, and he is just acting out... And his Biatch SISTER not to Bail him out well...she is Just a SNOB.
I feel sorry for him, being a HILTON no one even knows...

30. Hey George #29 Every other inmate is and was released after doing 10% (4 days), except her. Rich or poor everyone is supposed to be treated equally. The sheriff screwed up and let a judge run his jail that time. He did it right for Michelle Rodriguez, 18 days of the 180 and she was out. She had multi DUI's Paris was never convicted of DUI.

Any mother and father that lets their kid stay in jail is and are sick. and any of you that think that being raped in jail is funny or justice are equally sick.
